For 42 years The Bromley Players (formerly known as Bromley Operatic Society) have staged a high standard of plays, musicals and concerts in the Bromley Borough. The society started out as a choir for the catholic church but the group always found themselves singing Gilbert and Sullivan and so decided to become an Operatic Society. Over the years the name has changed several times. The society has performed in a number of community theatres including The Churchill, The Stag and The Bob Hope Theatre.
